The flowers have called an emergency meeting.
Naturally, nobody has agreed on the agenda.
Against a delicate blush-pink ground, an eccentric assembly of embroidered blossoms gathers in a delightful confusion of colour. Lavender, turquoise, bright green and pink mingle with sparkling jewel-like details, while little latticed arrangements appear to have been appointed to maintain some semblance of order.
They are having very little success.
Wandering embroidered lines connect the proceedings, and an elaborate black border, punctuated by colourful stitches and dark beads, provides a suitably authoritative conclusion.
Within, a contrasting dark lining reveals the quieter sophistication beneath all this botanical excitement.
A creation of intricate decoration, extravagant little personalities and the wonderful possibility that every flower has something terribly important to say.
The final resolution was passed unanimously:
