The Muse Wore It First.
Paws & Pearls began with a real dog.
The Muse is not simply the face of the House, nor a model brought in after a garment has been made. Her body, her coat, her movement, her proportions and her comfort are part of the design process from the beginning.
She does not simply model the garments.
She shapes them.
Designed from the dog outward.
A Pomeranian brings particular considerations to couture.
A full double coat needs space. A tiny body changes the importance of weight and proportion. Movement matters. The throat should remain free. A garment must sit comfortably over the coat without flattening it, fighting against it, or asking the dog to accommodate the design.
More than beauty
The Muse gave Paws & Pearls more than a silhouette.
Her personality became part of the spirit of the House: graceful but playful, gentle yet unmistakably herself.
She reminds us that the dog inside the couture is not an accessory to the clothes.
She is the reason for them.
Care comes first.
Before the photograph, the collection or the reveal, there is her wellbeing.
Her comfort guides the work. Her movement informs its proportions. Her needs set its pace.
The care at the heart of Paws & Pearls begins with her and extends to the small dogs for whom each creation is made.
And the story continues.
Every creation begins its story within the House, worn first by The Muse.
When it leaves the atelier, it enters the life of another small dog. Its exact design will never be repeated, but its story continues—in new movements, familiar places and the affection of the person who chose it.
