A Different Kind of Purchase

Every Paws & Pearls creation is individually designed and made. Each piece is unique, and its exact design will never be reproduced.

We want every purchase to be handled fairly and with care, in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation.

The Nature of One-of-a-Kind Creations

Much like an original artwork, the individuality of each Paws & Pearls creation lies in its particular combination of materials, craftsmanship and design.

Fabrics, embellishments and other components may be individually sourced, limited in availability or impossible to obtain again.

For this reason, exact reproductions and identical replacements are not offered.

Repairs are considered individually and cannot be guaranteed.

Before Purchasing

To help prospective buyers make informed decisions, we provide individual garment measurements, photographs, descriptions and the exact weight of each creation.

We also request information about the intended wearer so that we can undertake a preliminary assessment of any obvious fit or suitability concerns.

This assessment does not guarantee a perfect fit, and Paws & Pearls does not offer alterations or made-to-measure commissions.

Cancelling a Purchase

If you wish to cancel a purchase before it has been dispatched, please contact Paws & Pearls as soon as possible.

We will confirm the status of your order and the applicable cancellation arrangements.

For qualifying online purchases, South African legislation also provides a cooling-off period during which customers may cancel without giving a reason.

Where these provisions apply, cancellation may be requested within seven days of receiving the creation. The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the garment, as permitted by law.

Applicable refunds will be processed within the legally required period.

Returning a Creation

If you wish to return a creation after receiving it, please contact Paws & Pearls by email.

Include the creation's name or number, your order details and a brief explanation of your enquiry, where applicable.

We will discuss the appropriate return arrangements with you.

Garments should be packaged carefully to protect their delicate fabrics, construction and embellishments during transit.

Responsibility for return delivery costs will depend on the reason for the return and the applicable legal requirements.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Creations

Every Paws & Pearls creation is carefully examined and prepared before dispatch.

If your creation arrives damaged, is not the item ordered, or you believe it has a manufacturing defect, please contact us so that the matter can be addressed.

Because every creation is one of a kind, an identical replacement is not possible. Repairs may also be impossible if the original fabrics, embellishments or other materials are no longer available.

Where a creation is defective and a refund is required or chosen in accordance with applicable consumer legislation, Paws & Pearls will provide the appropriate refund.

Repairs

Paws & Pearls creations often incorporate unusual fabrics, individually sourced trims and embellishments that may not be available again.

For this reason, repairs cannot be guaranteed.

Requests for repairs are considered individually, taking into account the nature of the damage, the garment's construction and the availability of suitable materials.

Where a repair is possible, the arrangements will be discussed with the customer.
