At first glance, everything appears perfectly respectable.
Muted slate-blue checks, carefully defined lines and delicate pale piping suggest impeccable manners and an admirable appreciation for order.
Then one notices the bow.
Magnificent, theatrical and entirely incapable of discretion, it introduces a flourish of dark roses into an otherwise composed arrangement.
Inside, those same roses have taken over completely, flourishing among rich colours and vivid foliage against a dramatic dark ground.
A creation in which tailored sophistication encounters floral extravagance — and finds itself rather unexpectedly delighted by the company.
