This is most certainly not one of them.
An extravagant procession of sculptural blooms tumbles across a dramatic black foundation. Pale mint, dusky lavender and midnight-black petals gather in improbable abundance, creating a magnificent confusion of colour, texture and movement.
The flowers appear to have abandoned every rule of polite arrangement, and the result is all the more glorious for it.
Inside, a richly coloured floral lining reveals an entirely different garden, where roses and vivid foliage flourish against a dark background.
A creation of glorious excess, botanical mischief and absolutely no interest in being overlooked.
After all, flowers are entitled to a little scandal of their own.

The chiffon petals are cut by hand, with their edges carefully heat-finished to create their delicate form. They are then individually attached to the bodice with thread, together with beading details that contribute to the creation's layered, sculptural character.

Avoid rubbing, wringing or applying pressure to the embellishments. Lay flat on a clean surface and allow to air-dry naturally. If necessary, steam gently from a safe distance, avoiding direct contact with the chiffon petals, as these can easily be damaged.
